Terms of Service

Readpodcast AI provides AI-powered podcast transcription, episode insights, and related tools built on publicly available podcast RSS feeds. Some features are available without signing in, while others require an account, subscription or credits. The Service is powered by in-house systems and third-party AI providers.

To use most features you must create an account with a valid email address. You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Paid plans are billed monthly through our third-party payment processor. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method on each renewal until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account's billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then. Plan upgrades take effect immediately and are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing period. Plan downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period; your current plan and allowance remain available until then, and no prorated refund is issued.

Credit policy. Each episode unlock consumes 50 credits; each AI Chat message consumes 20 credits. On the Free tier, 150 credits are granted each month and reset automatically. On every plan, if processing fails before a usable transcript is delivered, the consumed episode-unlock credits are automatically restored.

Export access. Unlocked episodes remain available to read and search online. Copy All and one-click Markdown, PDF and mind-map image exports require an active paid plan, including any paid-through cancellation period. A failed payment may immediately suspend new transcriptions, AI Chat messages, Copy All and exports. Prior episode unlocks and Chat history remain readable. The Free tier and its monthly credits begin only after the subscription expires.

Invitation rewards. Published invitation tasks may award credits or complimentary membership access after the stated completion requirements are met. Invitation credits are held as non-expiring Bonus Credits unless the published task states otherwise. Rewards have no cash value, may be subject to campaign and rolling-period limits, and may be withheld or reversed for self-referrals, duplicate or automated accounts, or other abuse. We may change or end a campaign prospectively.

As a general rule, purchases of digital products are non-refundable. If you have a billing issue or believe a charge was made in error, please contact support@readpodcast.ai. We review refund-related requests on a case-by-case basis and typically respond within 3 business days. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law.

You agree not to: (a) use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service or to circumvent rate limits or quota; (b) probe, attack, reverse-engineer or otherwise interfere with the Service; (c) resell, redistribute or commercialize transcripts or insights in bulk without our written permission; (d) use chat or AI features to generate sexually explicit, violent, hateful, harassing, illegal or otherwise harmful content, including but not limited to content involving minors (whether real or generated). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Readpodcast AI processes publicly available podcast RSS feeds. We do not own the underlying podcast audio, artwork or descriptions; those rights belong to their respective owners. If you believe content accessible through the Service infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice containing the standard elements to support@readpodcast.ai. We aim to respond within 48 hours and may remove or restrict access to the affected content.

Transcripts, insights and chat responses are generated by AI models and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, biases or fabricated information. They are provided for personal informational purposes only and do not constitute professional, legal, medical, financial or other advice. Always verify important information against the original source.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. For paid plans, we will provide at least 30 days' notice by email of any material adverse change to the plan you have subscribed to.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Readpodcast AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold Readpodcast AI harmless from any claims, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email to account holders and by posting an updated version here. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are provided in English and may be translated into other languages for convenience only. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between the English version and any translation, the English version shall prevail and be the authoritative and binding version.
